The Jack Gill Lean-To

The Jack Gill Lean-To is named for one of Deerfoot’s beloved former director’s and is the home of the Point Section Chief. It also serves as a meeting area for Pioneer campers. The building’s large fieldstone chimney was built to incorporate Chief Jack’s personal rock collection. Chief Jack was a geology teacher as well as camp director.
